Skin Rejuvenation in Winter

In Winter, many of us face the dry skin problem

• Moisture in the skin goes down and skin becomes dry

• Oily skin types become over dry, stimulating excess oil production and promoting skin breakouts

• Rosacea and eczema flare up

Many people think that the answer to dry winter skin is moisturization, and they are right. However, when you apply lotion or cream to a layer of dry skin, nothing but that top layer receives the hydration. It is because your skin is still accumulate dead skin cells and various type of waste products. If this layer becomes too thick, which is seen in aging or poorly maintained skin, active ingredients of a skin care product have trouble penetrating deeply enough to have an effect. That means that the next time you wash your face, all the nourishing ingredients of your lotion are washed away too.

How to rejuvenate our skin in winter?

Chemical peels and microdermabrasion treatments can help you target these problems. Both treatments can be very effective in rejuvenating and exfoliating skin, as they work by peeling away layers of damaged skin to reveal healthier layers underneath. These treatments can maximize the results of your daily skin care and increase your skin’s hydration, so your face can better absorb the nutrients of your skin care products.

Microdermabrasion is the most natural and effective way to evenly and safely exfoliate the skin without the use of chemicals. The system stimulates cellular regeneration of the skin, eliminates dead skin cells, fades pigmentation marks and age spots, reduces wrinkles and scars, and softens skin blemishes.

I think Microdermabrasion is still to take off in the general public. A lot of people don't understand fully how it is done and get turned off simply by the terminology! Also many people underestimate the benefit of a good skin routine
